Camping Ticket Holders 

Travel sustainably with like-minded festival goers and get access directly to the festival at the Boardmasters’ official Coach Station. You can choose to arrive on either Wednesday or Thursday. All carbon-neutral coaches will return to one of 80 pick up points on Monday, hassle-free. Take the stress out of planning your travel and book with Big Green Coach.

Where will the coach drop me off?

You’ll be dropped off inside the festival at the Boardmasters Coach Station.

CAN I LEAVE MY BELONGINGS ON THE COACH?

No – you’ll need to take your belongings with you.

You’ll initially receive a confirmation email when you book. You will receive your coach and festival e-ticket a couple of weeks before the festival.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY COACH?

Coach departure times will be clearly communicated to you in advance, like any travel service you will need to arrive in plenty of time ahead of your departure.

HOW WILL I BE CONTACTED ABOUT MY JOURNEY?

You will receive a confirmation email when you book one of our Coach packages. More information, including updates to your booking, will be communicated to you via the coach provider, Big Green Coach.

No, if you have purchased our Ticket + Coach packages, you will not be able to buy or sell these.

If you have purchased a Day Ticket only, then you can buy/ sell these with Tixel as normal. For questions related to resale, contact Tixel customer service directly.

Day Ticket Holders 

You can book a Day + Coach Package with pick ups from across the South West. You’ll be dropped off at the festival before the music starts and get picked up after the headliners finish. 

Choose from Bodmin, Cornwall Services, Exeter, Falmouth, Helston, Launceston, Liskeard, Okehampton, Penzance, Plymouth, Roche, St Austell, Treverbyn, Truro.

Day tickets are now on sale here.

Day ticket holders will arrive by 11am and your coach will depart after our headliner finishes.

Travelling by Train

 

Newquay is our nearest train station. We’ll be operating a shuttle bus every day for just £3.50 per journey. 

  • Make sure to reserve your train ticket in advance
  • Note that some services may not accommodate surfboards, so check luggage policies
  • Don’t forget your railcard (if applicable)

NEWQUAY SHUTTLE BUSES

 

Shuttle buses are the quickest mode of transport between our two sites.

Watergate Bay (for the music) and Fistral Beach (for surfing). 

It’s the quickest way to get to Fistral Beach because it can access closed roads, saving you time compared to driving and finding limited parking in Newquay.

Shuttle buses are £3.50 for a one way journey.

Operating hours: 

08:00 – 21.00 (Wednesday to Thursday)

07:30 – 04:30 (Friday to Monday – Please note there will be a reduced service on Monday morning).

Location: Shuttle Bus Station at Blue Gate.

Taxis should follow the BLUE route directions on our directional & electronic traffic signs.

If coming by Taxi, you’ll be dropped of by our entrance at Blue Gate (next to the Shuttle Bus Station)

CAR PARKS

 

To limit our impact on the local area, and to encourage greener travel choices, only Wednesday Camping, Thursday Camping, VIP Camping ticket holders and Accessibility Customers can park in the Premium Onsite Car Park at Boardmasters. Parking must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.

Our Premium Onsite Car Park – Green Car Park is £79.50 and subject to a re-entry charge. For a more cost effective option, make use of our Park and Ride – White Car Park. You’ll be able to park from £10 and hop on a shuttle bus to the show. A one-way journey on the shuttle bus will cost £3.50.

Day and VIP Day ticket holders must travel by coach, shuttle bus or use Park + Ride – White.

Before choosing to travel by car, please consider the environment and explore public transportation methods. If alternative transport modes aren’t an option, please carpool to help minimise the number of vehicles heading to the festival.

PREMIUM ONSITE CAR PARK - GREEN CAR PARK:

 

For Wednesday Camping, Thursday Camping and VIP Camping ticket holders.

Passes must be booked in advance. You will not be able to book, or buy, on the day.

Arrivals on the door without a parking pass will be directed to our Park and Ride – White.

ACCESSIBLE CAR PARK - BLUE CAR PARK:

 

For Blue Badge Holders or Pre-booked Access Campsite ticket holders only. Spaces in our Access Car Park are limited and must to be booked in advance, you will not be allowed to park here without a valid parking pass.

Parking passes will be sent out around 2-weeks before the event, please ensure this is clearly displayed in your vehicle on arrival to the festival.

BOARDMASTERS PARK & RIDE - WHITE CAR PARK

✅ Helps us to reduce traffic on the roads near to the festival

You can either get dropped off at our Park + Ride or park your car there for the day.

If you’re parking for the day, buy your parking pass in advance starting from £10. Book early to guarantee the best price for your tickets – prices vary on the door and peak days.

Catch one of our buses to take you directly to the festival and back, these will be running from early in the morning until after the music finishes.

The bus will cost £3.50 each way and will operate via a simple tap and ride system before you board the bus.

There will be food and drink traders available as well as shelter and toilets.

WHY ARE YOU CHARGING FOR THE PARK + RIDE?

We’re subsidising the costs, but we do need to charge a small fee to help us cover the costs of the buses and car park. 

WILL THE CAR PARK HAVE SECURITY?

Yes, the car park will have security. However, we advise not leaving valuables in your car. Belongings will be left at your own risk. 

IS PARK + RIDE INCLUDED IN MY VIP TICKET?

No, if you’ve bought a VIP Day Ticket our Park + Ride service is not included in the price of your ticket.

You will need to add a parking pass to your order, either in advance for £10 or pay on the door for £20. You’ll then need to hop on one of our park + ride buses which will drop you on the doorstep of the festival, simple!

PICK UP AND DROP OFF

 

To limit our impact on the local area, and to encourage greener travel choices, we strongly recommend using our Park and Ride service rather than pick up and drop off. 

Please note, the walk from our new pick up and drop off location to Jaws, Pipeline and Boilers campsites is 40 – 60 minutes. Travel via Park and Ride and you’ll have a 15 minute walk!

PLANE

 

Cornwall Airport Newquay is very close to the festival, we basically sit at the very end of their runway! So, you’ll be enjoying your favourite bands in no time.

There are 10 airlines flying from 21 different destinations including London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Dublin.

To ensure a hassle-free journey, it’s advisable to book in advance with the airlines directly.
