How old do I have to be to go to Boardmasters?

All ages are welcome, but you must be aged 16 or over to attend without an adult.

Anyone aged 15 or under will need to be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over. One adult can look after up to 2 under 15s.

If you look under 16 we will ask you for ID before you can gain entry to the festival. Valid forms of ID are a Drivers License (provisional is ok), Passport or any other form of ID that is certified in the PASS System

We get asked every year if college ID or photocopies are ok. They’re not. We can only accept original versions of the IDs listed above.

Do I need to purchase a ticket to watch the surfing competitions?

No. You do not need to purchase a ticket to watch any of the sporting events at Boardmasters. Our surf competition is held at Fistral Beach and does not require a ticket.

What are ticket tiers?

Our tickets are sold in pricing tiers. Once one tier sells out we move up to the next tier. So the earlier you book your tickets, the better the price you’ll pay.

Who are your official ticket agents?

Our official ticket agents are SEE Tickets and Big Green Coach.

Our official resale platform will be Tixel.

Please do not buy from unofficial sources as your ticket will not be valid.

Can you pay with a deposit or payment plan?

Yes – you can book with a £40 deposit and pay the rest at the end of April

Book with a payment plan. Pay £40 deposit + booking fee and pay off the rest of your balance in equal monthly instalments until Friday 28 April 2023. Easy!

What’s pre-pitched?

Pre-pitched is the cheapest option to have a tent at Boardmasters. A 2-person tent is £199 and takes out the drama of buying your own and getting it to Cornwall.

What’s a reserved pitch?

You can reserve your spot in the campsite for £40 per pitch and arrange to camp next to your mates. We will be in touch with people who have booked this option closer to the festival to arrange this.

Names on tickets

This year we’re asking ticket bookers to fill in the names for every ticket holder. Having names on tickets will help us reduce ticket fraud which we see causes heartache for genuine fans every year. It will also help us keep the festival secure.

You’ll have until 30th June 2023 to fill in these details. You’ll need to fill in these details before the ticket agent can issue your tickets in July 2023.

Can you change the name on a ticket if my friend can’t go?

Yes you can change names up until 30th June 2023. You can do this via your SEE Tickets account.

When do you send out etickets?

E-tickets will be sent out early July 2023.

Can I have a refund?

This depends on your circumstances and whether you’ve purchased refund protection. As standard our tickets don’t come with refund protection, this is a paid extra available when booking. For more information, please contact See Tickets.
