BOOK NOWBlack Honey have been on the forefront of British rock music for the past few years, rising to cult fame with their self-titled debut album and critical success of their sophomore ‘Written & Directed’. More recently, their third album ‘A Fistful of Peaches’ saw the band skyrocket through the charts, claiming the number 6 spot. A huge achievement for an independent rock outfit and one well earned by the ever-impressive outfits.
In addition to success with their releases, the band have also played at festivals across the world, having toured with The Vaccines, and IDLES. They are a true force to be reckoned with and are crafting out their own space in the music industry. It is incredibly exciting to watch.
The band is led by the enigmatic Izzy B Phillips – a vocal powerhouse, shredder of guitar, and master of the stage, you cannot help but be captivated by her presence on stage. The full force of the band is at its best live, which is why they recently just sold out their KOKO, London show.
If you’re looking for a dose of rock whilst at Boardmasters, then Black Honey is essential viewing. They are the future of British guitar music, and the future is looking incredibly bright. We are confident that Black Honey are going to be putting on a show that will transcend the festival and be spoken about for years to come.
