Noise Management

An extensive Noise Management Plan will be drawn up by our specialist noise monitoring consultant, Joynes & Nash, who will be on site throughout the duration of the live event. 

To mitigate disruption to the local community, 24, a silent disco will be held on the Wednesday and Thursday from 20:00 to 02:00hrs, as in 2023, rendering the entertainment inaudible in noise-sensitive areas during weekdays.  

All noise levels shall be monitored throughout the duration of the event, as per our agreement with Environmental Health, and you will be able to phone our local residents’  hotline, through which measurements will be taken in response to any complaints received. The live telephone number to report any issues surrounding noise pollution will be published on the website closer to the show. 

As in previous years, sound checks will take place between: Tuesday 6th  – Sunday 11th August.
