JOIN THE GREEN TEAM

Boardmasters and betternotstop are delighted to open applications for our Green Team on the stunning North Cliffs of Cornwall!

Boardmasters is taking place 7th – 11th August 2024. You will be required to be onsite from Tuesday 6th August to Monday 12th/Tuesday 13th August 2024.

As well as the three shifts throughout the festival, you will be required to work either a Sunday, Monday OR Tuesday shift.

If you are unavailable for any of these, please do not apply for the Green Team this year – we need all hands on deck during these times to have the most productive impact possible.

  • Access to the staff campsite is included – with hot showers! (You will need to bring your own tent / equipment)
  • One crew catering meal per shift completed
  • One full festival day off, as well as time on other festival days before/after your shift, to enjoy the festival
  • Be part of something that’s changing the culture around festival waste and people’s attitudes towards how the site is treated
  • Help make everyone’s festival experience better for people and the planet!

  • Are able to be onsite from 5pm Tuesday 6th August to Monday 12th/ Tuesday 13th August 2024.
  • Are ready and willing to work outdoors (in pairs) in either the campsite, Litterbond or on Beach Cleans
  • Will work a variety of shifts (in pairs) over the weekend (approx. 4 hours per day)
  • Will provide a feedback form by Friday 16th August
  • Are enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and a can-do personality!

Please register your interest by filling in the 2024 Boardmasters Green Team Application.

Once your application has been approved, a £150 deposit is required to secure your place in the Green Team, this will be returned to you in full once you’ve completed all required shifts and filled in our feedback form shared with you after the festival.

You will be informed by early July of the outcome of your application. If at any point after applying you are no longer available to volunteer, please let us know asap as there will be a long waiting list of eager volunteers to fulfil the role.

PAID ROLES

We currently don’t have any paid roles available. Updates coming soon…

Due to the vast number of applications received with a relatively small number of paid roles to fill, we won’t be able to respond to everyone.

All of paid roles will involve hard work and not much time off during the festival period. If you’d prefer an alternative role which allows you to enjoy more of the festival, check our our volunteers section.

Previous festival or events experience is beneficial but not essential, if you’re enthusiastic, have good time and organisational skills then we’d love to hear from you.
