Hard Life

Following a well-publicised fall-out with easyGroup, hard life (formerly known as easy life) are
back with a brand new single and video – ‘tears’. Despite the new name, the blissful mix of
warped soul, hip-hop, and Murray Matravers’ unique point of view is instantly-identifiable. ‘tears’
is about growing up, and lawyering up. Channelling personal turbulence into universal positivity,
the first release as hard life marks a new chapter whilst also doubling down on those values
beyond mere trademark: “it’s a hard life, I can’t lie, it’s been a rush, in the hard times, lucky I
got friends that I trust, it was easy in my 20s now I gotta lawyer up, gimme airmiles or a fair
trial.”
